Kopke Homes is an independent Engineered Building Systems Dealer, featuring panelized construction.
Panelized construction is the process used to pre-build the floors, stud walls, and trusses in a climate controlled factory. The pre-built framing materials are then brought to the job site to be craned into place. The on-site framing labor costs are cut in half, saving you thousands of dollars.
Until recently, panelized construction (which has been around for over 40 years), had been more expensive than stick building. It was also limited to only the simplist of floor plans.
Today, with the use of computers and software, we can build any style of custom home more efficiently than stick building. In fact, the more complicated the design, the more panelized construction pays off in labor savings.
